Fonts are the various styles of text you can use on your artwork to display information. For the best end product and to ensure your magnets come out the way you want them to, you should:

  • Package all fonts used in your artwork with the artwork file you submit. If you don't do this your artwork may display a different font on our end.
  • Ensure that all fonts aren't smaller than 6pt. Any smaller than this can make them hard to read.
  • Make sure that your fonts don't have a stroke thickness of less than 0.4pt.

The Resolution of your artwork defines how sharp or blurry or pixelated your artwork will appear when printed. Image resolution is measured in pixels on a computer but dpi (dots per square inch) is used in printing. To ensure The best results all artwork provided should be a minimum of 300dpi.

NOTE: If you intend to order a larger sized magnet, a higher dpi will ensure that your artwork does not become blurry when printed. The higher the dpi the better appearance your image will have when printed.

Artwork can be submitted in a variety of file formats. Below is a list of the types of files we can accept.

Preferred:

  • .pdf
  • .ai
  • .svg

If you do not have artwork in these formats, that's cool. We also accept the below.

  • .jpg, .bmp, .png, .gif, .psd, .ps, .tiff, .eps

If you can't find any artwork in these formats please try contacting your graphic designer, tech wizard or marketing manager and see if they can help. If not, don’t stress. Just let us know and we will do our best to help you out.

Colour Mode refers to the system that is used to define the colour in your artwork. The three major colour modes are CMYK, RGB and PMS. CMYK is the colour mode we employ because it can produce full coloured artworks quickly, ensuring fastest turnaround time and amazing quality. RGB colour can't be used for printing and is most commonly used on TV and computer screens. PMS can be used for printing but can be a slow, expensive and time consuming process. It is most commonly used in painting.

For the best quality product please convert your artwork to CMYK before sending it to us or alternatively let us know the CMYK values of your artwork.
