Colours
Although we don't charge for extra colour, we cannot guarantee 100% colour accuracy and some colour variations can occur.
Reprints
Magnets.com.au will only reprint customer magnets when it feels colours have changed beyond the allowed colour range. Such issues as printing errors occurring with images or text falling off will warrant a reprint.
It is the customers responsibility to check that all information is correct and current before approval. Magnets.com.au will not be held responsible for any incorrect information once printed.

Intellectual Property, Warranty & Indemnity clause
(1) Warranty
In relation to any text, works, logo, sign, symbol, picture or other materials supplied by the client for the purposes of publication, preparation, presentation or reproduction, the purchaser warrants;
(a) that there are and have been at all material times, owners of any and all relevant extant intellectual property rights pertaining to the material supplied including copyright, trade mark, patent and/or design right; or
(b) that they have obtained all necessary consents, licenses or authorizations from all and any authors or other 3rd party who has the capacity to give the same in relation to any texts, works or materials provided or otherwise used for the purposes of providing the services under this agreement.
(2) Indemnity
The client agrees to indemnify and hold Magnets.com, its directors, agents, employees or assigns, harmless from and against any and all claims, regulatory proceedings and/or causes of action, and all damages, liabilities, costs (including without limitation settlement costs) or expenses (including without limitation legal fees on a solicitor client basis) arising from any alleged:
(a) libel, slander, defamation, product disparagement or indecent, false, misleading or deceptive conduct;
(b) infringement of trademark, copyright, moral right, design rights, title, slogan, trade indicia or other proprietary rights;
(c) piracy, counterfeiting, plagiarism, unfair competition or idea misappropriation;
(d) invasion of the right of privacy;
as a result of any act or thing done of the client's instructions or with the texts, works, logos, signs, symbols, pictures or other materials supplied by the client.
The warranties and indemnities contemplated by clauses A and B of the agreement shall survive the termination of the agreement.
CMYK file formatting
Magnets.com.au produces magnets in a CMYK printing process.
This means that if your artwork is created in RGB or PMS colours, then you must convert them to CMYK before sending the file to us, including those of embedded images or we can do the CMYK conversion for you when we produce your proof.
You must also be aware that colours that you view on your screen will not exactly match the colours of the end product.
Color Spaces (RGB Vs CMYK)
There are two types of colour spaces that are used when graphic designing and printing:
RGB - (Red, Green, Blue) These are the colours your monitor uses to display your artwork when you are designing or viewing your proof.
CMYK - (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow,Black) These are the printing industry standard colours for printing.
Colour shifts are usually not visible in colour photographs; however, rich and solid colours (like a background) can be affected by a colour conversion.

Accepted File Types
You can supply artwork to Magnets.com.au in various formats, however there are considerations for each one:
Artwork sent from other programs like Word, Power Point and Publisher will be accepted however your artwork will be converted to CMYK and a colour variation will occur if your artwork was not made using CMYK colours.
Please ensure that no text, logos or essential images are placed outside of the 'text area' of your magnet. Also be aware that any image within the bleed area of the magnet may be cut off.
Bleed Area = 3 mm
Text Area = 10 mm

You can provide us with finished artwork, or have us finish the design or layout for you.
If you are providing finished artwork, please adhere to the instructions listed next to the file types above.
We can accept virtually any materials you would like to provide. We can produce designs based on your sketches, drawings, business cards and mock-ups. There is no charge for us to scan your photographs and logos on our high-resolution scanners.
The first 20 minutes of design time is free, and this is usually sufficient time to complete your design. If you require additional time to produce the right design, we can provide this service at $50.00 per hour.
We will always supply a proof for your approval before printing. The first two proofs are free of charge, additional proofs are charged at $20 per proof.
